Samtec is seeking experienced Field Sales Professionals to call on new and existing customer accounts in the following areas:

  • Denver, CO
  • Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Los Angeles/San Gabriel Valley, CA
  • Austin, TX
  • Houston, TX

The Direct Sales FAE positions require true professionals who are comfortable working at a high activity level to drive new design wins and secure business.  Candidates must be able to organize and execute a strategic approach to developing their territory account base.

Candidates selected will have a minimum of five years of outside sales experience in the electronics market.  OEM Sales and/or Connector Sales a plus.  A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, concentration in EE or ME is a plus.  Tremendous Compensation Opportunity and Bonus with Benefits.

Component Development Engineer candidates will have a BSME and at least 3 years hands-on experience in the design of components utilizing injection-molding, high speed stamping, and automated or semi-automated assembly manufacturing processes. Experience with 3D solid modeling and/or high density/fine pitch designs would be a plus.

A desire for developing win-win solutions, and a commitment to customer satisfaction is required. You will be provided with state-of-the-art tools, the training to use them, and the opportunity to work with engineers at leading edge electronics companies.
