Plating Lab Lead TechnicianLocation:
Alajuela, Costa Rica
Job Description: Manage the daily functions of the plating lab. Maitenance, analysis, and makeup of plating baths. Monitor and maintain chemical inventories and related products. Track precious metal usage and reclaim. Maintain records per ISO and QS requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 year Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree (preferred)
• Experience working in an electroplating facility (preferred)
• Must be detail oriented
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), proficiency with system applications, and problem solving skills are a must
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Must be capable of working cross-functionally with different departments/personnel
• Knowledge of Microsoft office and related software required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to a 8 hour shift
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
