New Rugged 2mm Pitch Tiger Eye™
Discrete Wire Assembly

Samtec has expanded its discrete wire cable family to include a rugged 2mm pitch Tiger Eye™ discrete wire cable assembly. The system features Samtec's Tiger Eye™ contacts, which are designed for high reliability and high mating cycles, ideal for rugged cable-to-board applications.

The Tiger Eye™ discrete wire cable assembly (S2SD/T2SD Series) mates with the 2mm board level Tiger Eye™ system (S2M/T2M Series) and is shrouded, polarized and keyed for rugged applications.Also featured is a metal retention latching system for higher withdrawal forces. The socket assembly provides up to 2.6A per power contact and the terminal assembly is available with an optional transfer end.

The double-row design, with up to 60 total pins, is available with a standard choice of 24, 26, 28 or 30 AWG PVC cable. Teflon® cable is also available on select wire gauges and is appropriate for use in high temperature and other harsh environments. The cable system is available as a full cable assembly or as components with tooling.
