Effective January 1, 2005, Samtec, Inc. will open a new Samtec Silicon Valley office to better take advantage of both the new opportunities and challenges which present themselves in this strategic, fast growing region. Samtec's product technological advances, and the customer's expectation of immediate Samtec involvement in their design efforts make this an obvious and easy decision.

Samtec is excited to announce that familiar faces such as Bill Kottmeier, formerly of Meritage Sales, Inc., will head up the Samtec Silicon Valley office while Brian Hoyt and Kevin Morril will be in place as Samtec Sales Engineers and Kathy Sandoval will handle inside Customer Service.

Meritage Sales Inc, who previously covered this region will remain as a Samtec Rep in other territories. Samtec and Meritage Sales will continue working closely together to assure a smooth transition for all our customers. You may continue to reach our Samtec Silicon Valley Associates through the Meritage Sales phone and email systems until the Samtec Silicon Valley infrastructure is fully in place.
