Samtec is offering
the Final Inch® design as a downloadable file in Gerber and .dxf formats,
for cut and paste application into standard board layout software packages.
The entire design will be treated as a component that you can drop into
your software and route to and from. Drill charts will also be provided.
Final Inch® physical
art components include:
- PCB
stack up – 8 layer, .63 thick FR-4
board with 2 inner 50 Ohm signal layers
- Footprint
- Via field
– uses standard mechanical drilling processes for highest manufacturability,
easiest routing and best plane conductance
- Traces
– 50 Ohm single ended or 100 Ohm differential
with minimal cross talk and stretchable for your application
