In order to comply with Costa Rican Environmental Law, Samtec continues to assist in reforesting the Virilla River border.  The Virilla River provides drinking wanter and electricity to 2.5 million people.

A government agency assists in the site selection and instruction and Samtec CR has formed a commission internally to coordinate this project.  On this occassion over 225 trees were planted with an overall goal of 7 million.

Associates arrived by bus and jeep to plant the trees and after a fortifying breakfast, and planting instructions, they headed out to do the planting.

After a successful day, and lots of holes, the Associates head for home.
