Samtec Introduces 75Ohm BNC System Optimized for 3G SDI

The emergence of the 3 Gbps 3G Serial Digital Interface (3G SDI) which enables uncompressed digital transfer of 1080p and digital cinema has once again brought interconnect Signal Integrity considerations to the forefront of high speed system design.  Samtec, Inc. has employed its Signal Integrity expertise to help address these unique high speed requirements with the development a family of BNC connectors to be truly optimized for 3G SDI communications.

Samtec’s True75™ BNC connectors (BNC7T Series) are a tested and proven 75 Ohm +/- 3 Ohm system.  They are available in Edge Mount Straight Bulkhead Jack for .062” and .093” boards, Through-hole Straight Jack, and Through-hole Right Angle Bulkhead Jack orientations.  Also available is a True75™ RG6 Coax Cable Plug (RF6 Series) in Straight and Right Angle orientations.
