New High Speed Cables for Rugged Applications available from Samtec
Samtec's new high speed Data Rate™ Cable Plugs (HPDPI Series) mate with industry standard HDMI™ connectors (HDMI Series) for rugged, high speed, cable-to-board applications.
The 30 AWG twin ax micro ribbon cable used in these interfaces feature 100 Ohm differential signal routing with estimated performance of up to 1.5 GHz at 1 meter depending upon signal type.
These cable assemblies feature a choice of five or eight signal pair, with five power lines and are ideal for applications requiring cable lengths up to 2.5 meters. The rugged plastic housing with convenient side grips allow fast and easy connect/disconnect without pin damage in cramped quarters while protecting the solder joints where the wires are attached to the transition interface.
