New Samtec RF Board Interfaces Include Combinations with Standard Signal/Ground Connectors

Standard Samtec high density and high speed connectors with high signal and ground pin counts can often be combined with MMCX-scale or other RF connectors to provide the ultimate in board-to-board flexibility and functionality.

High speed connectors (QMS/QFS Q2™ Series) feature one or two RF connectors per end with up to 156 single-ended or 48 signal pairs per connector on 0.635mm (13158”) pitch with an internal ground plane.  High density connectors on 2mm (0787”) pitch (ESRF/ETRF Series) feature up to 80 signal/ground pins and 6 RF connectors as standard.

A variety of other standard Samtec connectors can be modified to include MMCX-scale, QMA, SMC, UHF, and 1.0/2.3 Mini UHF connectors.  These include a range from commodity 2,54mm (.100”) pitch shrouded headers to high density open pin field arrays on 1,27mm (.050”) pitch grid.  Custom RF/micro-coax cable combinations are also available.
