Overview

Samtec 0.80 mm pitch Edge Rate® Differential Pair High-Speed Edge Card Connectors offer 56 Gbps PAM4 performance in typical edge card applications. The HSEC8-DP SI Evaluation Kit provides system designers and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing HSEC8-DP connectors.

  • Two PCB system with compact form factor
  • One PCB contains HSEC8-DP connector (HSEC8-120-01-L-DP-A-WK-K)
  • Second PCB contains 0.80 mm pitch card edges that mate with HSEC8-DP connector
  • Routes high-speed differential pairs (8 total) from HSEC8-DP connectors and card edges to high-precision RF connectors
  • Supports multiple high-precision RF connector options (2.4 mm/2.92 mm SMAs)
  • Optimized SI performance via Samtec Final Inch® BOR PCB trace routing
  • Enable time domain measurements via direct connection to TDR/TDTs
  • Enable frequency domain measurements via direct connection to VNAs
